Fellow Award Presentation, Banquet, and Karaoke

The awards banquet on Saturday night is the workshop’s culminating event, where attendees come together to honor an outstanding professional interpreter with the prestigious NAI Fellow award. The evening features great food, dancing, and music. This is an event you won’t want to miss.

There is a fee to attend this event.

Interpretive Media Competition

Did your site create an innovative interpretive curriculum, ingenious wayside exhibit, intriguing site publication, or an excellent interpretive panel in 2009? The 2010 Interpretive Media Awards celebrate the best of 2009 interpretive media.

Be sure to give it the applause it deserves (especially since it can’t speak for itself, metaphorically speaking) and submit it to the Media Awards Competition. The deadline for submissions is at the end of May.

The Interpretive Media Awards Competition is brought to you by the National Association for Interpretation and its Interpretive Media Section to promote excellence in the delivery of natural, cultural, and historical nonpersonal interpretive services. Through the exchange of ideas we increase the level of excellence in our profession.

The awards are given out throughout the workshop.

NAI recognizes outstanding achievements and showcases the successes of NAI members and others working to advance the profession of interpretation. As a member of NAI, you are exposed to outstanding and inspiring programs and professionals.
