Mitre PeakJoin NAI for a 12-day wildlife safari led by NAI Associate Director Lisa Brochu. This wildlife safari is specifically designed to visit a variety of East Africa’s wildlife habitats, each with its unique community of birds and mammals, scenic attractions, and cultural components. Your means of transportation is in specially equipped four-wheel drive safari vehicles with a guaranteed window seat and access to the roof hatch for all participants.

2007 Galapagos2007: Galapagos
Fourteen NAI members joined NAI Executive Director Tim Merriman on a wildlife adventure to the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, January 19–29, 2007. They shared the boat with five others booked by World Discovery Safaris for this amazing trip. Comments generally were summed up as, “Wow, this was truly the trip of a lifetime.” Most bragged of 1,000 to 2,500 photos each of three species of boobies, marine iguanas, sea lions, 13 species of Darwin’s finches, and more.

Serengeti 20052005: NAI members explored the Serengeti 
Twelve NAI members spent almost two weeks in February 2005 enjoying the spectacular natural and cultural resources the country has to offer.

2004 Peru2004: NAI members go to Peru
11 participants headed to the Amazon near Iquitos for 11 days and then went on to Cuzco and Macchu Pichu for 6 days, giving them the chance to explore unique ecosystems and cultural landscapes.

2003 Kenya2003: Kenya, NAI's First Ecotour
13 NAI members participated in NAI's first ecotour to Kenya in 2003. The trip took the group to several national parks and game reserves for close encounters with African wildlife and cultures.
